Over the past five years, we have been continually developing our CMS software, to the point we have just released our fourth upgrade: Absolute CMS 4.0. This release has meant an upgrade in features and improvements in usability, making it easier than ever before to have full control over your website. The CMS has been designed for individuals with a low technical threshold; as we say, if you can use Microsoft Word, you can use our CMS to manage the content of your own website.

Absolute CMS 4.0 is based on an open source PHP framework which has been adapted to be very search engine friendly. It allows both our SEO experts and our clients to insert key information such as header tags, page titles, URL re-writes and meta data.

Even better, because we have developed the platform ourselves, we can easily add extra functionality. We have existing modules for news (which categorises articles according to key search terms to improve SEO), live chat, online questionnaires, quote calculators, recruitment modules, meet the team, newsletters and many more. Furthermore, we can develop bespoke functionality to suit a business's individual requirements, taking new or existing processes and improving their efficiency and accessibility online.

We are often asked if using the CMS 4.0 ties a business to Absolute, but because the platform is open source, clients can be assured that not only is the coding future proof, it is not restricted to one agency, if, for any reason in the future, they should decide to work with a third party.

Once your website is up and running and your content management system is installed, we will provide a bespoke training manual, supported by tailored on-site training to ensure that your website editors are happy with the way that the system works. We always make a test site available in advance of a site launch, so clients can get used to system in advance of the training.

We also offer on-going support and maintenance for all our sites to ensure that all our clients get the most from their CMS and offer reduced rates for any upgrades.
