We've recently completed a few improvements here at Absolute, including a refurbishment of our boardroom, a dedicated Microsoft Exchange server and improved backup and archiving system. The new boardroom looks great - from the new carpet and clean paint job down to the shiny new Mac in the corner for presentations and website demos, it's the ideal place to meet and discuss our clients' latest project and the perfect venue for our upcoming web marketing seminars.

Less exciting but just as important, we've also been investing heavily in new hardware over the summer, including a new file server with a much higher capacity storage and backup. All current projects are backed up on a daily basis and a copy of the server’s data is kept off the premises over night for complete peace of mind. Older work is important too - with ten years’ worth of our clients’ marketing projects stored in our digital archive, it’s important to ensure this is effectively backed up.

Finally, our new Microsoft Exchange server has given us a far more reliable and versatile system for running our email, calendars and shared contacts. Our directors and management team can now check their email and calendars from home and from their iPhones, helping them keep on top of things when away from the office and improving the service to our clients.
