We were recently awarded the East Midlands Development Agency contract to re-design their England's East Midlands website. The web design and development project, which attracted 80 expressions of interest and was subject to two tender stages was awarded to Absolute because we demonstrated our understanding of foreign direct investments and its impact on the region.

From initial desk research, creative web design concepts, copywriting, photography, technical development and SEO techniques it has been an enjoyable project to be involved with and we're proud to be part of something that will benefit the business community within the East Midlands so greatly.

Including bespoke functionality developed to enhance the user's journey as well as improve administrative systems for the emda staff, the 350 page site also boasts a fully interactive Flash map displaying businesses, places of interest, museums, sporting venues and all local travel amenities. The website is easy to navigate around and contains high impact imagery to reflect the regions outstanding features. The use of strong calls to action and cross selling hooks ensures clear promotion of the regions unique selling points and also the support service offered by emda.

Users arriving at the site can be sure to find exactly what they're looking for with the clear navigation and structure, whether it's a specific key sector, information about a particular region or access to the downloadable PDF brochures.
