New Web Design for East Midlands Local Authorities
Announcing the new web design for the East Midlands Improvement & Efficiency Partnership (EM IEP). The website contains hundreds of publications, news articles, case studies and general information on their programmes and services, providing a central resource for 46 councils and five fire and rescue authorities across the East Midlands region.
In addition to creating the web design for the new site, we also produced a large amount of bespoke functionality, allowing users to easily access content that is tagged with up to 19 unique themes, such as Business Development or Equality & Diversity. This means that tagged news articles, publications, videos case studies, etc automatically appear alongside relevant page content. This makes finding relevant information far easier and in doing so will increase usage of the website's resources.
The website also includes a newsletter module that allows the marketing team to quickly and easily create HTML email newsletters by harvesting existing news stories, events and other content from the website that are automatically formatted within the template we designed for them. This avoids duplication and streamlines the production process, freeing up their resources for other marketing activities.
Absolute Web Design Nottingham have considerable experience in the production of public sector websites, having previously worked for clients across the region, including the East Midlands Development Agency (emda), Nottinghamshire County Council and Nottingham Conferences.
