Founded over 40 years ago, Metreel are one of the world's leading suppliers of enclosed track materials handling systems. Based in Derbyshire, they also have international manufacture and distribution premises in Houston - USA, Ontario - Canada and Granjas Modernas - Mexico. The new website, metreel.com, is designed to target these markets and has been launched to promote their MET-TRACK crane systems and support their attendance at the MODEX2012 expo in Florida in February.

The site uses the Absolute CMS to present information on Metreel's extensive product range and includes dedicated modules for latest news, customer support and parts information. There is also an integrated dealer login module, allowing dealers (and Metreel themselves) access to the site in order to generate quotes on the fly for clients via a quoting engine supplied and configured by Metreel's engineering and sales teams.

Other standard modules include company locations, displaying their locations via Google Maps; "Your Contacts", giving information about key team members; and a downloads module for brochures and other technical documents.

It has been a great project to work on and we are looking forward to continuing to work with Metreel on further bespoke functionality to the site later in the year.
