We were recently invited to deliver a presentation to a group of students from New College Nottingham as part of their “Creative Careers” event. The talk, entitled “Behind the Scenes at a Web Design Agency”, gave an overview of Absolute web design Nottingham’s approach to design projects, with particular emphasis on web design.

The session was delivered by our Digital Services Director, James Bird, and one of our web designers, Tom Fletcher and covered an overview of our web design process, the importance of the creative brief, technical considerations and real life case studies.

We are very proud to announce the launch of The Famous Shop ecommerce website. Our brief was to create a compelling web design and ecommerce platform that allowed Famous Stars & Straps’ UK distributor, West Coast Distribution, to promote their products online quickly and easily, with automated updates from their back office systems.

VetsMediCover (VMC) is an insurance company that takes a unique approach to pet insurance. VMC offer dog and cat insurance for any breed, of any age, in any area for one set price, removing the need for the often complex and lengthy quotation process. 

Having come up with this new concept, VMC commissioned Absolute Web Design Nottingham to develop their Brand, graphic design and web design.

Viaton Industries wanted to position themselves as a modern, forward thinking business and chose web design as the medium to achieve this. Viaton approached Absolute to create a new web design, powered by our content management system (CMS). Not only does the CMS allow the team at Viaton to quickly and easily update the website's content, it also employs various modules to make site management more efficient. These include web design, news, case studies and a password-protected client area.

Given our experience of the medical services sector, Absolute web design Nottingham were the natural choice for The British Cognitive Behavioural Therapy Counselling Service's new web design project.
 
The BCBTCS are Counselling Psychologists and Doctors of Clinical Psychology who provide Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. In addition to the more traditional face to face consultancy, the BCBTCS also wanted to encourage video and online counselling and needed a strong web design platform in order to achieve this.
