The Carers Federation is dedicated to supporting carers of all ages and the people they look after. It is now a diverse organisation offering a wide range of services to individuals and the wider community. Absolute web design were commissioned to redesign their website with the objective of providing a consistent look and feel and ensuring that their wide range of services were given equal weighting and prominence within the site. We introduced strong creative photography into the web design and recommended a clear colour coding system for navigating the various sections.

Earth Hair & Spa is an Aveda affiliated hair salon and spa located in Newark. They approached Absolute web design Nottingham to redesign their website in order to take advantage of our web design expertise and the high level of functionality offered by the Absolute CMSv4.

Specific features include a special offers module which allows the marketing team to place relevant “hooks” on every page in the site; latest news module to enhance the site’s SEO performance; “meet the team” module showcasing their specialities, biogs and photographs; online booking; and a gift voucher module to allow users to purchase gift vouchers online.

Over the past year, we have been working with Apprentice Zone, a business that sells tools and equipment to apprentices starting their new careers. We have undertaken the web design and development of four ecommerce sites targeting different sectors: automotive, construction, hair and beauty and engineering.

With all four ecommerce sites up and running, the business turned its attention to a “hub” site, which will act as a virtual community for young people considering becoming an apprentice as well as promoting the four retail sites. The site features a dynamic youth-oriented web design and includes features such as a facebook and twitter integration, forum, apprenticeship directory plus advertising module that allows advertisers to promote and manage their products and services on key pages throughout the site.

DL Rhodes & Son is a construction company based in Nottingham offering services ranging from building repairs to civil engineering and working with private clients and local authorities.

The business needed a new web design to better reflect the quality and professionalism of their work and allow potential clients to easily find them on Google and the other search engines. They chose Absolute web design Nottingham to produce the site due to our web design and search engine optimisation (SEO) experience.

The website is built using Absolute CMS 4, allowing DL Rhodes to edit page content, maintaining a consistent and professional web design throughout. The web design is also very SEO friendly and includes dedicated modules for a showcase gallery of recent projects, plus automatic URL re-writing, SEO friendly HTML and META data to maximise their ranking on the search engines.

We are proud to announce the launch of the new Natgraph web design to coincide with a major international exhibition at FESPA 2010 in Munich.

Located in Nottingham, Natgraph is Europe's largest manufacturer of conveyor dryers utilising forced air, infra red energy and ultra violet radiation. Absolute was approached to create a new web design and CMS solution that would reflect the positioning of the business and also allow the marketing team to implement web marketing strategies and improve SEO ranking for selected key words and phrases.

As an SME manufacturer based in the East Midlands, the web design and development qualified for a match funding grant from a regional development fund. Absolute was able to secure 50% of the project costs because we are an approved member of the East Midlands Service Provider Register. Funding was used for web consultancy aimed at increasing the efficiency and sales performance of the website. This included an ecommerce module, a news module to ensure regular content updates to the homepage and on-site Search Engine Optimisation (SEO).

We were recently awarded the East Midlands Development Agency contract to re-design their England's East Midlands website. The web design and development project, which attracted 80 expressions of interest and was subject to two tender stages was awarded to Absolute because we demonstrated our understanding of foreign direct investments and its impact on the region.

Announcing the new web design for the East Midlands Improvement & Efficiency Partnership (EM IEP). The website contains hundreds of publications, news articles, case studies and general information on their programmes and services, providing a central resource for 46 councils and five fire and rescue authorities across the East Midlands region.

Specialists in office interior design, shelving, racking and partitioning, Butler & Willow approached us to create a web design that more accurately matched their professional and design-focused approach. The company, who are based in Long Eaton, Nottingham and have been clients of Absolute's for ten years, wanted a website that not only looked great, but also allowed them to update and maintain key areas of the site, such as case studies, latest news and information on the services they offer. The new site, which went live this week, was 50% funded by grant assistance specifically provided for manufacturing businesses. Powered by our 'Absolute' content management system (CMS), the site features a bold, dynamic web design, supported by strong case study photography and has been positively received by the client.
