"We may not be the best branding and web design agency in the area,
but we're in the top one" was Dave Ellis' homage to Brian Clough as he
introduced Absolute at Tuesday night's networking event held on behalf
of the Institute of Directors, Nottingham Chamber of Commerce and
Derbyshire Chamber of Commerce at the City Ground.
Acting in
our capacity as a Regional Partner of the IoD, Dave Ellis was asked to
officially welcome the 90 plus attendees to the event. The crowd were
then entertained by the guest speaker, Nigel Jemson, who played for
both clubs in his illustrious career; Nigel answered a number of
questions about his time at Nottingham Forest and predicted a 2-1
victory, so he clearly had some inside knowledge.
The next IoD
event in Nottingham takes place on February 26th, when Caspar Barry, a
professional poker player, consultant on Casino Royale and co-founder
of Twenty First Century Media will be explaining about risk management.
