Creation of Content Managed Website

We have worked with the marketing team at Nottingham Conferences for over four years to ensuring the site is constantly reviewed and updated.

The website is powered by our the Absolute content management version 4 (CMS) and includes information and virtual tours for each venue, an interactive tool to allow users to search based on their event type and a news module to allow the conference team to easily keep the site up-to-date.

Recent addition include a on-line questionnaire and virtual tour module to enable visitors to the website to ‘experience’ the facilities available to delegates.

We also create microsites for the marketing team that allow them to differentiate niche offering such as Christmas and Weddings.

Graphic design branding review

When The University of Nottingham restructured its hospitality division, they asked us to undertake a full graphic design branding review in order to strengthen the positioning of their service offering.

A list of names was generated, each of which was researched for competitors and web availability. Nottingham Conferences was chosen in part because of its ability to deliver keyword density for the businesses prime search phrase. Our graphic design captured the historic context of the university logo and also retained some design the cues and equity from the previous brand. The graphic design was also able to encompass the new service offering of four sub-brands that operate within the business. Each sub-brand was given a unique colour palette that extended throughout on-line and off-line marketing activity.

Remember When Meeting Were Fun, Call an Expert,  Ribbons were all successful campaigns that ran in a number of trade publications and were then rolled out to web and exhibition formats.  Understanding what is important in terms of their customers decision making process is vital if the adverts are gong to sell off the page.
