Online payment and policy processing system

We have worked with VMC to help develop and support a fully bespoke, in-house, back-end sales, affiliate sales and policy document processing and delivery system. We have provided a solution where the website not only processes payment via a number of options (credit card, DD etc), but issues all necessary policy documentation, in keeping with the VetsMediCover brand, directly to the customer and the underwriter by return of email.

Another ‘engineered-in’ benefit of the system, is that all content can now be easily accessed and cross-referenced from the single, central database allowing, amongst other things, interrogation of Affiliate sales & commission and simple .xml file collation of all fiscal content to be delivered, in specific format, to the company’s accountant for ease of processing.

'Start from scratch' brand development

We were approached to discuss the redevelopment of their existing brand and web design, VetsMediCover commissioned us to  ‘start again from scratch’ to help breath new life into the brand, which went live towards the end of 2010. To date, working closely with the client, projects have covered design for print, web & emarketing and exhibition materials.

CMS Website Design

Having redeveloped the logo and designed the website front end, establishing a new brand feel, we set to work rationalizing the complex back-end applications functionality, which has to integrate into third party systems in order to facilitate accurate cover and policy document processing, as well as three methods of online payment.  Built using the Absolute CMS, we have also added an Affiliate Tracking Module to manage and report on all external agents’ sales through the site and the effectiveness of external banner advertising.

Having developed their brand and website, we turned our attentions to more targeted sales initiatives. We developed a series of creative concepts for an email marketing campaign, which aimed to effectively encapsulate the product and proposition to two markets – clients looking for great value insurance and potential affiliates, such as Vets, who could promote the service on a commission basis.

VetsMediCover have developed a unique proposition within the pet insurance market; one pet, one price - no quotation required. Added to this are very competitive premium rates and top level cover of up to £10,000 vets’ fees, with cover for life.
