
01 Englands East Midlands
The England's East Midlands website was developed to promote the East Midlands region to overseas businesses as a location for direct foreign investment. Having won a competitive tender process with 80 expressions of interest, we were selected to carry out both the web design and development aspects of the project on behalf of the East Midlands Development Agency (emda). The site was created using a commercial ASP.NET content management system (CMS), Sitefinity, modified extensively to support all of their bespoke requirements. Creative aspects of the project included a strong web design, commissioned photography and a Flash-based interactive map. Since going live in January 2010, the England's East Midlands website has seen significant improvement in their search engine positions due to the optimised architecture of the site plus the continual on-site optimisation and proactive link building campaign undertaken by our SEO specialists.

02 Octavian
Security specialist Octavian Group offers services including manned guarding, remote monitoring and event security across the UK, Europe, the Middle East and North America.
As well as an engaging and dynamic web design, their new site includes a bespoke recruitment module that allows them to fully tailor the online application process to mirror their stringent internal processes. A candidate's application can be saved at any point in the process, allowing them to come back later to complete if necessary.
The creative concept ‘focused on your security' allowed the website and printed literature to share a common design and provide a consistent message across all of Octavian's promotional activities.

03 Nottingham Conferences
When Nottingham University restructured its internal resources to create Nottingham Conferences, we were responsible for replacing the two existing sites (which we had previously developed) with a new, redesigned central website.
The resulting website is powered by our content management system (CMS) and includes information and virtual tours for each venue, an interactive tool to allow users to search based on their event type and a news module to allow the conference team to easily keep the site up-to-date.

04 Potter Clarkson
Following the design and successful rollout of Potter Clarkson’s new brand identity, their attention shifted to their website. We had already updated the site to keep it consistent with their new corporate identity; the next step was to refresh the overall website design and replace the content management system (CMS) with Absolute’s easy-to-use system.

05 Syntax
The web design for Derby-based Syntax represents the two main areas of the
business and emphasises the strong level of integration between the
two. The site uses the Absolute CMS, which allows Syntax to update and
maintain any part of the site, including the integrated recruitment module, training calendar and latest news module.
The Syntax
team were delighted with the web design project and pleased with the
ease with which they could manage the site themselves only minimal
training from our developers.

06 Imagelift
We were commissioned to create a new website to promote the procedures offered by Imagelift. As well as being a well designed and easy-to-use resource for users considering cosmetic surgery, the website needed to allow the Nuffield team to keep procedure details, latest news and FAQs up-to-date.
We therefore recommended our content management system, which was adapted to perfectly fit their requirements. Other aspects of the website include an call-back form and a "tell a friend" option to further promote the site to other potential clients.

07 Villa Nova
The Villa Nova CMS website was originally designed and developed by us in 2007. The bespoke content management system allows Villa Nova's marketing team to upload new collections and press releases and lets trade customers create accounts to access restricted areas of the site. Likewise, members of the media can register in order to download high-resolution images for publication.
The site was redesigned in 2008 and now features a Flash showcase of their latest designs and "swatches" of their latest collections on the homepage, allowing users to jump straight to the collection they are interested in.

08 Applied
Applied has been supplying computer aided design (CAD) and product lifecycle solutions and services for more than a decade. They approached us to redesign and redevelop their website to convey a more corporate and professional image for their website, combined with an effective content management system (CMS) to allow them to easily update and maintain the site.
In addition to being able to update any page of their site, the CMS also includes modules dedicated to online recruitment, an interactive training schedule and calls to action, allowing users to register their interest in a product and service directly from the relevant page.

09 SGW Security Consulting
SGW Security Consulting is a team of multi-disciplined, consulting engineers, fire and security professionals and project managers, specialising in securing the Built Environment. Absolute was commissioned to redesign the SGW website and enhance their online presence, which was achieved by incorporating our content management system (CMS) to allow them full control of their own content. The project also included the design of a newsletter module to allow them to keep both current and prospective clients up to date with latest news and events. We also performed search engine optimisation techniques on the site to improve SGW's page ranking and exposure to new clients browsing search engines such as Google.

10 R B Lindley & Son
Having been in the industry for over 40 years, R B Lindley & Son decided it was time for an web upgrade. R B Lindley previously relied on other online resources in order to sell their products, but were keen to develop their own site to remove the need to pay extra for the commission. This prompted them to pay absolute a visit, and we suggested an e-commerce solution in order to streamline their sales and services. We used the Magento framework in order to accomplish this, as it is a fast and powerful framework with a lot of functionality already included.

11 Green Care Management
Green Care Management is a health and social care recruitment agency, specialising in placing qualified candidates into permanent positions within health and social care organisations throughout the UK. As a new business start-up Green Care initially approached us because of our reputation in developing specialist recruitment websites, and tasked us with helping them establish an online presence. By integrating our bespoke CMS system, which includes a customisable recruitment module, we are able to give Green Care the ability to both easily administer their website directly as well as promote and manage online job vacancies and applications.

12 ARC
ARC Building Solutions are an independent manufacturer and distributor of specialist insulation products for the building industry. Absolute was approached to design and develop the arc website in order to showcase their services for potential clients. The brief was to have a news and pdf archive module, so that people could easily stay up to date with arc's activities.

13 Apprentice Zone
With significant previous experience in the automotive and training sectors, new start-up Apprentice Zone commissioned us to design and develop a comprehensive e-commerce site selling tools to apprentice car mechanics at heavily discounted rates.
The site includes all of the usual e-commerce functionality you would expect, including user registration, special offers, wish lists and online credit card processing and has been very well received by the big name manufacturers involved.
The model will now be rolled out to other sectors including hair & beauty and construction.

14 Ambition Professionals
Ambition is a new education recruitment agency, specialising in filling temporary and permanent teaching vacancies. They work in partnership with schools, playgroups, LEAs and Associations, providing a comprehensive education recruitment service.
Ambition approached Absolute to create their corporate ID and fully-featured recruitment website. The resulting site allows Ambition's team to quickly and easily upload new job vacancies, update clients' loyalty points and allow candidates to indicate their availability using the online calendar system.

15 Cherry Professional
Having recently attended a web marketing seminar at Absolute, Cherry Professional were so impressed with our service offering that they asked us to re-design their recently developed website!
As leaders in the financial recruitment market, it was imperative that their web design reflected the professional nature of their business, something that was lacking in their existing site. They were, however, keen to portray a sense of personality which we achieved through the use of photography and a streamlined design style.
Using our bespoke CMS system that has a tailored recruitment module, Cherry Professional are able to manage their website easily and effectively, leaving them to get on with the important business - filling vacancies!

16 Laserase
Laserase is a network of twelve laser clinics across the UK that offer tattoo removal services. The Laserase website's main objective is to attract a wide audience of potential customers via SEO (the site currently ranks 6th on Google for "Tattoo Removal") and then to direct these prospects through to the their nearest clinic.
Having designed and produced the original Laserase website, we were delighted to be given the opportunity to take the site to the next level with a redesign and integration with our content management system (CMS).
A bespoke "find my nearest clinic" feature was added to the site. This allows users to see the address and contact details for the closest clinic to their house based on their postcode. We also integrated the system with Google Maps to present the clinic's specific location.

17 Express Medicals
Express Medicals Ltd offers occupational health services and workplace drugs and alcohol testing to hundreds of companies throughout the UK.
They wanted a new website design with a contemporary, modern look and feel, but which also provided the level of content management and bespoke functionality that would allow the site to grow with their needs.
One key element of the website was to allow users to find their nearest Express Medical clinic. This was previously provided by users clicking on the closest point on a map of the UK to them. Our new solution includes the functionality to allow the user to enter their post code, which the site uses to calculate their nearest clinic, which is then displayed on a customised Google Map, embedded in the page.

18 Mapperley Park
Mapperley Park Clinic realised it needed a strong web presence since its target market were using the web to gather information and effectively vet potential suppliers. We produced a fully optimised CMS website featuring comprehensive advice and information enabling the potential customer to make an informed decision.
The website's search engine optimised structure and content has given the site an excellent ranking in Google, which they complement with a successful pay-per-click AdWords campaign, managed by our web marketing team.

19 Cranleigh
Cranleigh are a scientific and renewable energy recruitment agency based in Surrey. We were commissioned to redesign their brand identity and redevelop the website with an engaging web design to give them far more control over the site’s content and provide an online recruitment system for candidates to use.
The recruitment module functions as part of our content management system (CMS), giving them full control over every aspect of the site, from posting a job vacancy to viewing and responding to online applications quickly and easily.
The web design concept created for Cranleigh clearly reflects their target demographic and is very easy to use for both candidates and employers.

20 LSL Careers
When asked to review LSL's online recruitment requirements, we recommended the development of a fully functional database driven website which would provide higher status for the group and a greater resource for the HR team. LSL can easily update their latest vacancies but most importantly, are provided with a bank of potential employees that they can search and select from to suit their requirements.

21 PikPak
Targeting the luxury, bespoke gifts market, PikPak approached us to produce their brand identity and website, which would be crucial to their success. They needed a creative and unique web design solution that would appeal to their target market.
The ecommerce site we produced was completely bespoke as it needed to function in a particular way, allowing customers to select their “point packs”, packaging options and then select the perfect products for the recipient.
The site uses our content management system (CMS) as its foundation, allowing PikPak to quickly and easily update any part of the site, including page copy and images as well as products, categories and ready made gift packs.

22 Connect For
Photocopier and printer retailer Connect For wanted a website that not only reflected their professionalism and brand identity (also developed by Absolute) but also added some extra functionality for users searching for the perfect machine. With this in mind, our designers created the vibrant and distinctive look and feel with the “Find the right copier for you” wizard as the website’s main focal point. This bespoke functionality created by our development team allows users to search Connect For’s product catalogue based on various factors, such as paper size and product type.
The website is completely managed by Connect For’s in-house team, allowing them to easily add new product information, testimonials and any other site content as required using our integrated content management system (CMS).

23 The Tile Warehouse
The Tile Warehouse website provides information to potential customers on the ranges of tiles available, tiling tips and tricks and general information on tiling, under-floor heating, etc.
The site was heavily search engine optimised and comes top on Google for their key search terms.

24 Bio Energy Group
Bio Energy is an initiative by The Forestry Commission to promote the use of locally grown biomass for the creation of heat and energy. The Forestry Commission asked us to develop a marketing presence for its Bio Energy Group, in order to appeal to potential stakeholders and clients.
In addition to the brand identity, we produced a CMS website, with the additional functionality of an integrated online suppliers database, plus a promotional brochure, exhibition material, stationery and case studies.

25 3SP
3SP is a software development company, specialising in remote access software. We designed and developed their new website using our content management system (CMS), allowing them to have full control over the content of their site. The site also includes a knowledge base system, which users can use to resolve any issues they may encounter.

26 Roythornes
The Roythornes CMS website ensures the site remains fresh and up-to-date and works as an additional marketing tool to push the business into new arenas. To complement the website, we have developed an online HIPs document management tool and a system for customers to obtain conveyancing quotations.
The site features commissioned photography that includes every member of staff so that clients can personally relate to them. It is also a great tool for encouraging staff morale and ensuring a productive team who will act as ambassadors for the business.

27 Butler and Willow
Butler & Willow asked us to create an effective and engaging showcase for their interior design services. We produced a CMS website that reflects their clean, modern style and gives them full control over the site's content.
The case studies feature allows them to display images of past projects, showing the progress of a project from start to finish.

28 Weight Loss Surgery
Following the successful launch of the Imagelift brand for cosmetic surgery at Nuffield Hospital (see below), we were asked by a leading laparoscopic surgeon to promote the weightloss surgery services that the Hospital offers.
Intended to follow a similar house style as the Imagelift cosmetic surgery brand, we developed the new corporate identity for Weight Loss Surgery UK and carried this through to a printed brochure, display material and combined a content management system with web design that gave the team full control to update the website with the latest news in this fast developing area. The site was launched in December 2008.

29 Magpie Shelving
Magpie Shelving is a trading division of Butler & Willow, offering cost-effective home storage solutions aimed at individual consumers rather than businesses. As such, the design we created is very commercial and allows the user to order their shelving online using PayPal.
The site includes step-by-step guides showing how easily the products can be assembled. It also shows applications for the shelving in various places around the home.

30 The Body Clinic
The Body Clinic specialises in surgical and non-surgical cosmetic treatments and operates three clinics across London, including one on Harley Street.
The website that we designed and developed presents details of the various treatments they offer, before-and-after images, testimonials from satisfied customers, press coverage of high profile treatments and maps showing the location of the clinics.
