Magento design & build plus PIM integration for Chipmunks.

We’ve been working with the Huber Group for over 18 months now, having first launched multi-lingual, multi-currency, Magento 2 sites for their european brands including: www.hanro.com, www.skiny.com, www.huber-bodywear.com, www.absolute-design.co.uk/work... Next, we worked on their UK brands, which are managed by Embody Brands, including: www.berlei.com, www.gossard.com, www.aristoc.com, www.prettypolly.co.uk and have just launched www.chipmunksfootwear.co.uk,making this the fifth storefront on the UK installation of Adobe Commerce.

Chipmunks Footwear is a collection of fun and fashionable children’s shoes especially designed to look after those precious little feet! This is a completely unrelated offering to Aritoc, Berlei, Pretty Polly, Gossard whose core business is predominantly ladies lingerie and undergarments.

The Challenge

While Chipmunks is the last storefront to be migrated onto M2, it was by no means a simple task as it required bespoke PIM integration in the form of product and shipping export files along with adapting a number of widgets to showcase the full strength of the brand itself.

Following a similar build structure to its’ sister sites, Chipmunks continues to deliver economies of scale and helps reduce the admin of the wider Huber Group sites by creating a uniform navigation structure, supplemented by a series of widgets, that were designed to enable each site Admin to customise their navigation as required.

We’re delighted that Chipmunks along with its’ Sister brands have decided to continue it's already hugely successful relationship by taking out a monthly maintenance contract. The flexibility that our support contract allows means that any monthly hours not used for the day-to-day upkeep of the site or engaging in other projects such as improving site speed can be rolled over within a 3month window to allow for greater long term planning and future proofing of the site.
