The Challenge

NEWA is a beauty tool - brand new to the UK market - designed to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and signs of ageing. The registered product owners came to us requiring a website to launch the product, supported by digital strategy. The website needed to be adaptable for possible future business ventures and flexible enough to allow the client to easily change aesthetics as and when required. NEWA presented a unique ecommerce site as their product is limited to just eight items within the beauty market. We therefore had to ensure we created a transactional site with well-crafted designs that fitted that particular market and elevated NEWA’s brand values.

What we did

Magento is our chosen platform for ecommerce developments. The platform is great for flexibility, allowing you to blend existing templates with bespoke pages to create unique sites. With increased speed, performance and heightened user experience available from Magento 2, this was the best solution for NEWA.
By blending carefully designed bespoke pages and content blocks with an existing Magento 2 theme we were able to deliver a cost-effective and visually appealing site unique to the client’s brand.

Magento allows for multiple storefronts using the same backend. This gives NEWA the option to expand in the future with new products and business ventures, using their existing backend development.

Alongside a Magento 2 development project, NEWA needed digital strategy to raise awareness of the beauty device. First came keyword analysis to establish NEWA’s key terms to ensure we targeted relevant pages with good quality content and meta data. We then set about creating and managing Adwords to heighten their search capacity, created Facebook Ads to target their demographic and also helped NEWA get started with their Google Shopping campaigns.

Digital strategy results

NEWA appointed us to assist with their paid search. Following keyword analysis we introduced both AdWords and Google Shopping. The campaigns saw a 374% return on AdSpend in the first month. Paid search has so far generated the most traffic to the site compared to all other channels. We will continue to create new campaigns, optimise the existing and introduce remarketing in the forthcoming months.
