We're a digital creative agency specialising in web design and development, with an impressive and varied client base.

We are looking for an experienced and talented Magento Developer to join our growing team.

THE ROLE

Working across a range of clients, you’ll be involved in challenging and varied projects from Magento eCommerce to CMS sites. As a talented and enthusiastic web developer you’ll be passionate about progressing your development knowledge and working towards a certification in Magento 2, for which we provide study aids and mentoring.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS

  • • Strong in HTML, CSS and JavaScript
  • • Good working knowledge of PHP and MySQL
  • • Experience with at least one PHP based CMS, such as Concrete5 or ExpressionEngine
  • • Experience of version control, preferably Git
  • • Experience working in a process-driven environment
  • • Strong communication skills
  • • An appetite for personal learning and development

DESIRABLE SKILLS

  • • Magento experience: 1+ year
  • • Experience of CSS preprocessors (SASS / LESS)
  • • Framework knowledge—e.g., jQuery or AngularJS
  • • A good understanding of Linux-based hosting environments
  • • A working understanding of internet architecture
  • • An interest in the state and shape of the web industry

KEY RESPONSIBILIITES

Working in a professional creative environment, this role involves:

  • • Collaborating with members of the team
  • • Helping us in shaping our solutions and process
  • • Interpreting requirement briefs, specifications, wireframes and designs
  • • Realising designs in HTML/CSS/JavaScript
  • • Occasionally developing web applications using new technologies such as Angular
  • • Problem-solving minor issues on existing sites
