Creating a brand to help change children’s lives

Helping a non-political campaign get off to the perfect start.

The challenge

Parents & Teachers for Excellence is a non-political campaign led by a group of education professionals with a track record of improving children's lives and giving young people the best education possible. Our challenge? To conceptualise and develop the brand and build a responsive website to give the campaign the influential start it needed. The branding had to target those with an interest in reforms within the education sector but also be modern and user friendly. The website needed to engage visitors and encourage them to join the campaign and donate to the cause.

Our research

We sat down with Parents and Teachers for Excellence to understand their campaign and what it meant to them. We also investigated their brand and how they saw it evolving, which helped shape a number of logo options. We then researched the market so that we could offer a cost-effective and easy-to-use CMS platform for their new website. Concrete5 stood out as the best CMS option for our client’s needs as it provided them with ease of use and security.

What we did

First, we presented Parents and Teachers with a range of modern, clean and dynamic logo options. The bright and vibrant logos reflected their professionalism but also showed accessibility. Inspiring imagery supported the branding and once a choice was made the brand identity was captured. Next came the website. Concrete5 allows inline editing on the frontend, meaning the team over at Parents and Teachers are able to simply edit content and images and change colour themes on their site, as and when required within the page. We also integrated a Donate feature on the site, meaning visitors to the website can immediately donate to the campaign.
